May 18, 2014 Hello, I try to build up a user friend userform from the screen point of view, my target is that the userform controls autofit to the screen size. Is there any kind of way to do this? I wanted to create a Userform in the Visual Basic editor but that option seems not available (see screenshot). How can I change that? Stack Overflow. If you need to change or add a userform you will need to do it in Mac Excel 2011 or a Windows version. Also see https.

A UserForm object has a property named StartUpPosition. By default, this property is set to 1 (CenterOwner), which means that it should appear in the center of Excel's window. but if you use dual monitors this will not work correct in Excel for Windows and on a Mac also not if you use one screen.
On a Mac we have another problem because setting StartUpPosition to 1 will not work like in Windows
because it will center on your Mac and not in center of the Excel window, and also you have the same problem as in win Excel if you have more screens attached to your Mac.

You can try the code below on a Mac in Excel 2011 to always open the userform in the center of your Excel window. Note: The code below will not work in 2016 and higher because the Macscript function is not working anymore in a lot of situations because of Apple Sandbox requirements.

I'm having a strange problem with a workbook that I'm creating which needs to work on Mac and PC platforms. I'm doing my development on a Mac. I have a UserForm which contains several frames. For some reason when I open the workbook on a PC and bring up the UserForm, the Frame captions don't show up. I thought initially that the problem had to do with the font I had chosen on the Mac, so I changed the fonts to Times New Roman (ugly, but supposed to be available on both the Mac and PC). The frame captions still don't show up when I open the UserForm on the PC. I finally figured out that the problem is that when I open the UserForm on the PC, the Frame caption font sizes are being set to 2 pt. When I create them on the Mac I am using 12 pt font sizes. I can edit the UserForm frame caption fonts on the PC and change them to 12 and then they show up when I load the UserForm.
Is this a known compatibility problem between VBA on Mac (Excel 2011) and the PC (Excel 2010)???
How do I avoid this issue? Note that I use (prefer) a Mac for the majority of my work, so I really don't want to develop my application on a PC.
